Perth’s CALAN WILLIAMS heads back to Spain next month to contest the Euroformula Open Winter Series.
The 2017 Aussie Formula 3 champ joins British-based Fortec Motorsports fo make his serious European racing debut at the famed Barcelona, Paul Ricard and Jerez circuits. The 17-year-old’s team is focused on bringing the budget together for the main Euroformula Open series. Plan B is a tilt at British F3.

This is an amazing step forward in the huge transition between racing in Australia and stepping up to competing on the international stage in Europe. I intend taking this opportunity with both hands and showing everyone what I can do.”
