The 500-mile Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada, is home to the Pennzoil 400. Established in 1947, NASCAR is the governing body of motorsports in the United States.  It oversees and sanctions some 1,200 races in more than 30 US states, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
