Rambling through North America – REAL RACERS RECKON Connecticut’s Lime Rock Park is the most significantly historic road racing circuit in North America. This weekend Lime Rock looks much more like the pic below, than the snowy clip above. But it’s an interesting contrast for the Aussie lads who are rampantly smokin’ their Formula Juniors across the good ole US of A.
Rambling through North America
Lime Rock opened in the US Spring of 1957 and the circuit remains exactly the same as it was back then. It was Lime Rock Park that hosted the race that forever changed the face of motorsports in America, the 1959 Formula Libre event.
