AARON LOVE is aiming to follow fellow West Aussie Nick Rowe’s feat at Round three of this weekend’s 2018 CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship.
Nick won at Queensland Raceway on his way to the 2017 F4 title. Aaron currently sits fourth with 87 Championship points in his #78 Team BRM-Coco’s drive. He leads this year’s series round podiums (excluding race wins) with five, following his three 3rds at Symmons Plains and two 2nds at Phillip Island.
Local hero Cameron Shields – one of six Team BRM drivers – heads the chase on 104, with just two points separating the top three. The F4s are supporting the Ipswich SuperSprint as part of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship line-up.
