Averting Disaster at 200km/h Monza synonymous with speed DANIEL RICCIARDO’S LAST SECOND DECISION to avoid slamming into fellow Aussie Oscar Piastri, during last Friday’s practice at Zandvoort, evaded an accident that could have been catastrophic for both drivers. Daniel steered his Alpha Tauri 04 head-first into barriers at an estimated scary 200kms at the heavily banked Hugenholtzbocht hairpin dodging compatriot Oscar, stationary in his McLaren after crashing moments earlier.
