Lake Percolilli Red Dust Revival 2019

Very late notice, but GRAEME COCKS reports:
If you have a few hours to spare this weekend, the Lake Perkolilli team is at the WA Hot Rod Show at Perth’s Claremont Showgrounds. Thanks to the show promoter, Les Smith, we’ve been invited to put together a display of Perko cars and bikes. Thanks to Brett we have enough saltbush to fill a clay pan authentic red dust on the ground!
“We’ve themed it to Ford (who wouldn’t at a hot rod show!) and a feature is Graeme Lockhart’s 1926 Ford Model T ‘Gow Job’ which he has built specially for September. The old warhorse Cranston V8 Special also has had a facelift for the Red Dust Revival. And, we also have the only 1912 Cora motorcycle left in the world in the display of bikes which will be burning up the clay.
