Hi all
It’s no secret that we have a had a bit of a tough run with the weather this October and believe me there was a lot of sole searching going on in this office! However, we need to put that behind us a move forward in a positive manner and get on with what we do best and that is showcase the most powerful motorsport on the planet. Thank you to everyone that has offered their support in one way or another.
So, here we are at the start of a another great season of Drag Racing Action here at the magnificent Perth Motorplex. We are looking forward to seeing all of our Racing families back here to blow out cobwebs and bring the venue alive in the way it is intended be.

This Saturday sees this exciting event showcasing all three Motorsport disciplines in a short sharp 4 hour package that is sure to give our fans a taste of what is in store for them this coming season.

Drag Racing Exhibition – 5:00pm
Speedway Exhibition – 7:00pm
Burnout Tip In Exhibition – 9:00pm
Admission Prices – Special Venue Opening Special
Adult 18+: $20.00
Student 13-17: $13.00

WA DRAG RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS ROUND 1 – 10th NOVEMBER 2018
This opening round of the season is just around the corner so it’s time to get those entries in.
Remember it is easier to withdraw than to pay the late fee at the last minute. So if you are not sure if you can make it or not it is better to get your entry in asap. If you find you are not going to make it you can withdraw up until the day before the event for a full refund. Simply log back into the online entry website and click on PRINT TICKETS then a list of events you have entered will come up then click on WITHDRAW FROM EVENT … Simples!
Entries Close this coming Wednesday the 31st October!

FORMULA TECH PERFORMANCE WHOOP ASS WEDNESDAYS!
The Formula Tech Whoop Ass Wednesdays have been well supported even on these crisp Spring nights with hundreds of Perth’s off street racers and fans coming out and enjoying the racing of course the Burnouts that now finish off the night. Next week is 90’s Night where any 90’s vehicle can race for half price, plus it’s Halloween so there will be heaps of prizes and giveaways for the best Halloween Costumes!
For all our V Twin riders out there Bagger Tricks Custom Cycles have come on board to present V Twin Night on Wednesday the 14th November. All V Twin Motorcycles will race for half price, and remember if you need to trick up your ride give Bagger Tricks a call or catch up with them at any Formula Tech Performance Whoop Ass Wednesday they are in lanes every week!
The ever popular Wednesday Off Street racing events are on every Wednesday Night until the end of May … Head over the Motorplex Website – http://www.motorplex.com.au/whoop-ass/ to download the Theme Night Calendar for this season. If your vehicle matches the Theme then you race for half price! … It’s always great fun so come out and have a play with your Street Car or Bike!

WADRA CLUB MEETING – Tuesday 13th November 2018
The Western Australian Drag Racing Association Club Meetings are on the second Tuesday of every month. Come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle before the meeting starts and a cool beverage and bench race afterwards – Visitors Welcome!
