Safe Journey for All at Albany Classic Weekend
Posted on June 4, 2017 Tags: Albany Classic
May I wish a safe and successful journey to all those attending this weekend’s wonderful Albany Classic, through the streets of this delightful southern town’s city’s CBD. The event – overlooking the ANZAC Peace Park and Princess Royal Harbour- is one of Western Australia’s finest spectacles. It presents historic motor sport at its best with a wide variety of cars from vintage wire wheels, post-vintage and classics, openwheelers, and big cube muscle cars. Part of the WA Regularity Championship, it is organised locally by the Albany Organising Committee, with the Vintage Sports Car Club of WA.
Similar sentiments are expressed for those involved with the today’s CAMS Onslow Contracting WA Rally Championship event, the MRF Tyres Boddington Rally.
Congratulations to all involved. For many of you, it’s a long drive home. Take extra care.
