Race commentator VAUGHN BREWER is swapping his microphone to co-drive the RYAN DAVIS HQ for Saturday’s Wanneroo 100. It’ll be Vaughn’s first race in a few years after the Historic Touring Car he planned to drive was destroyed in the leadup to the 2016 Perth Supercars event. The Wanneroo 100 features Saloon Cars, Excels and HQs. 
Vaughn has been keeping his skill levels up doing some driver coaching for the V8 Race Experience.
So I’ve seen every little bit of the track in the past few months. And I think we have a good chance of a good result. Strategy will dictate a fair bit over the 100kms but Ryan, a longtime HQ pilot, and I are confident of s good showing. The car’s looking mint with its new paint job for the HQ Nationals, where Ryan came 16th overall and 4th local home.
